Dear Parents, The end of the school year is here and we hope that your holiday preparations are going well. Registrations open later than usual this year: our survey showed that the majority of you wished to return to in-person lessons, so we wanted to find a school to welcome us at the start of the new term. It took longer than expected. We are happy to announce that St George's School has responded and offered us their classrooms on Saturday morning.

We have decided to diversify our offer this year by offering you two formats. Tuesday classes will remain online, allowing families residing far from Edinburgh or those who prefer this format to continue to benefit from La Petite Ecole classes. Saturday classes will be face-to-face.
La Petite Ecole has decided not to increase its prices this year. Face-to-face classes on Saturday therefore remain at the same price and online classes benefit from a 20% reduction.
Tuesday classes will take place on Zoom between 4pm and 6pm. The classes will be split into two one-hour groups, allowing us to reduce the number of students in each class and better maintain the attention of the students.
Saturday classes will be held at St Georges School, Garscube Terrace EH12 6BG, from 10:00 am to midday. Our website is being updated and you will be able to find more information about this very soon.
We hope that this new school year will also be an opportunity to reconnect with our Christmas and summer celebrations, and look forward to being able to organise meetings on a more regular basis.
This year, La Petite Ecole, in partnership with the French Institute, is offering parents the opportunity to benefit from the group rate to enroll at the French Institute in Scotland at the price of £15 instead of £40. If you wish, you can choose this option on the registration form. Membership of the IFE gives access to the media library as well as to several cultural events.
